Paludi Summer School 2026

Save the date

We are delighted to announce that registration for the Paludi Summer School 2026 is now open!
The summer school will take place from 8 to 17 June 2026 at the Thünen Institute in Braunschweig and the Greifswald Moor Centrum

Registration is open until 31 December 2025 for doctoral students and early-career researchers from the Paludi-Netz projects. Any remaining places will be allocated to doctoral students outside the Paludi-Netz projects through a selection process. If you are interested, please contact us directly at summerschool@greifswaldmoor.de

The Summer School is aimed at doctoral candidates and early-career researchers working on paludiculture. Its main goal is to foster interdisciplinary exchange and connect participants with each other as well as with experts from research and practice. The programme focuses on collaboratively developing and deepening knowledge on paludiculture and includes practical tasks, interactive workshops, excursions to project sites, and shared leisure activities for networking.

Each participant will be asked to present their research topic – a chance to share ideas, receive feedback, and learn from one another.

Participation in the Summer School is free of charge. Travel and accommodation costs are not included and must be covered by participants’ projects. We aim to reserve affordable accommodation (single, double, or shared rooms according to preference). Further information will follow.

The detailed programme is currently being planned, but you can already look forward to a varied schedule with inputs, workshops, and excursions. An initial overview can be found bellow.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at any time at: summerschool@greifswaldmoor.de

We look forward to seeing you!
